Volunteering to be a Block Parent is very easy! We are always in need of more Block Parents in all areas throughout the city of London.

Who may become a Block Parent?

  • You must be over 18 years of age.

  • All residents in the Block Parent home 12 years of age or over must be screened by the police.

  • Has a telephone and is willing to make a phone call for assistance whenever their Block Parent sign is displayed.

  • If you live in an apartment building or a duplex, your door must be directly accessible from the street.

  • Cares about the well-being of everyone, especially children.

Upon approval of your application and police screenings, your new Block Parent sign will be delivered to you by the Area/ School Coordinator.  It is important to remember to display your Block Parent sign only when you are available and remove it from your window when you are not available.
